My favorite thing to do with my son (other than cuddle) is to play outside and explore. He points out all the things he knows the words for, asks questions and still wants me to hold his hand. I am so lucky that I get to spend so much time with him and I wouldn’t have it any other way! He is growing and learning… surprising us everyday. Recently he has also been testing us like any 2 year old will. I try very hard to put him in time out without laughing. It’s so odd to be mad and smile at the same time right? I just wonder how would a small toddler think to even do that?
It’s been unseasonably warm so we have beeb playing outside a lot. I decided to bring along my camera and try to get some pictures much like the ones I did about a year ago when Braylan started to walk. It’s amazing to me what a difference one year makes.
Such a cute family! I have a facebook contest every spring for a free session. I let Braylan choose from a jar of names this year. SO many people entered and this family won! We did there session at Boyne Mt. and the boys did great. Miles is so full of energy and we got tons of candids. I’m also obessed with their mama’s tattoo. I want one so bad and she has one that I LOVE!
This is my “little” brother Josh! Him and Lindsey just got married this past weekend and I couldn’t wait to share these. I’ve been bugging them for 2 years to get their engagement pictures done and 2 days before their wedding they finally agreed. It was a beautiful night at their house… we were only out there for about 10 minutes at 8:30pm and I’m pretty impressed on how many we got! I am pumped to post some of their wedding pictures very soon.
I know I always say it… but it’s only because it’s TRUE… I love watching babies grow! I have been photographing this little man since he was in his mama’s belly. It’s the third session I have had with his parents and I have to say this one is my fave! We had to fight the wind and he did so great. Today his mom wrote she needs more wall space and it made my day. You probably can tell he loves to fly.
Cute to boot! These girls and their mama rocked this session. The weather was warm, the girls were in great moods, their mom always dresses them in fabulous outfits and just look at them. I love pops of color, vintage and color tinting. My style has changed so much since I have started and I def. will keep uping my game.
This girl is soooo photogenic. It was so easy to do her shoot. I had the different places in mind that I wanted to go. Her cousin and aunt came along for her session too. Along the way we saw some other family/friends around town that also joined us. Honestly that is the exact reason I love living in a small town. Some people probably say the opposite… but I love catching up with people and we are such a little close knit community.
I’m trying to look through all my sessions from the past year I haven’t posted. I have a lot to go.
