This girl is soooo photogenic. It was so easy to do her shoot. I had the different places in mind that I wanted to go. Her cousin and aunt came along for her session too. Along the way we saw some other family/friends around town that also joined us.
Honestly that is the exact reason I love living in a small town. Some people probably say the opposite… but I love catching up with people and we are such a little close knit community.
I’m trying to look through all my sessions from the past year I haven’t posted. I have a lot to go.

I love fall sessions… but this year I was so busy running around because I got slammed at the last minute with a ton of sessions at once. I had a hard time saying no. This year I highly advise clients to plan ahead. I have a couple family sessions booked already for fall.
This is Abbie! She’s a Boyne Falls senior… we went to one of my favorite places to shoot outdoors. Her mom was so funny giving her poses to do beside me. I love that I can see parents with one eye and they don’t know I’m watching them.
The leaves were bright and full of color… and the weather was beautiful.

This girl really knows her angles. She was so good with her own poses and has the most beautiful hair… AND clothes! Her and her mom came to her shoot and they were down with any places or ideas I had. I’ve been experimenting more and more with lighting and editing for seniors. I also spend a lot more time with their pictures and in their sessions. I have new packages and options for 2012 with my pricing that I think with help a lot.

This is Peter… I don’t get a ton of senior guys so when I do get them I always try to make them feel as comfortable as possible. Funny thing is Peter came with his sisters and mom. I probably smiled the entire session straight at them trying to get him to smile! They have a farm and live right next to the railroad tracks so we did his outside pics right at his house. My I can’t pick a fave here because I have a few I REALLY love. This kid should be a model… I told him so too!

I went to Boyne Falls School and can remember since I started my business every year when the first senior from Boyne Falls books a session. Danielle was the first this year and she was down for ALL my ideas. It was a super nice warm fall day and I had her climbing up trees, up a hill to get to the railroad tracks, climb up rocks for a waterfall AND jump in freezing cold water. Sorry Danielle… but again I love my job when I’m shooting because it is so fun most of the time!

Meet Kyrsha! I have to say I get to photograph some pretty stylish people but this girl totally has the same taste as me. I got so excited when she would appear from her outfit changes. She also has one fun mom! The session felt like it flew right by. I have a few new outside places I love… you will probably start to notice as I catch up on posts. I have had one busy year and the inquiries keep rolling in. I am also not posting in order. I guess I’m a random blogger. You never know what season I will choose to post next.

Better color or black and white? I couldn’t decide!

You may notice two different hair styles here.
We had to do one session in the fall and one in the winter. I like the two looks thing. I’ve had the most polite guy seniors this year. Sometimes I get guys that don’t really want to get their pictures taken and kind of bum around… but this past yer has been great.
