About The Photographer
Hi! My name is Erika Blackwell and I am photographer of Center of Attention Photography. Located in Northern Michigan. My blog is a way for everyone to view some of my favorite images from recent sessions and get to know me! I am the very VERY proud mommy to Braylan. I LOVE what I do and I hope you can tell! These are not JUST take pictures I take. I create memories... I pour my heart into my work. I genuinely care about my clients and get to know them and learn what they like and dislike. I am an artist. A business woman. I love to have fun. I love to sing. Dance. Make crazy sounds to get those smiles. I am very open! I work into the night even though my son hates to sleep. I LOVE oreos and soymilk. I dream big. I have tons of ideas. I cry during touching ceremonies and awesome reception speeches. I try not to be messy but it happens. I have so many new faces to meet this year and just thinking about it makes me excited!
Sooo excited to post these pictures. Down below is Jessi-Jo’s maternity session… and I couldn’t wait to take Beau’s newborn pictures. I’m sure you will be seeing lots more of this little cutie pie on my blog! My baby is due in December and just seeing and holding Beau makes me over the moon. He’s an angel… he just needs to wake up so I can officially meet him. Everytime I get to see him he’s a sleepy head!
Remember that free session+dress that I was giving away in a contest?? If you follow my blog you know this was a big deal and sooo many votes were cast over a couple weeks. Facebook pages went crazy asking friends to vote… and my blog got thousands of new hits. The winner was Cassidy. Their mom Erica was up for anything and I have so many awesome shots of these girlies! Very fun morning.
These two are really good friends of my husband and I. One week after taking these pictures baby Beau Daniel arrived! A little early but really healthy and adorable as ever! Only a couple more days until his first photo session…. Jessi-Jo is a total country girl/cowgirl so it was only right to take the pictures on their farm. I love them!
