Hi! My name is Erika and I am photographer of Center of Attention Photography. My blog is a way for everyone to view recent work and get to know me! I am the very proud mommy to Braylan. I have the most wonderful and supportive family and friends. I LOVE what I do and I hope you can tell!
Leigh-Anne and Jason had planned their wedding to be outside but the rain forced them to change their plans. That did not stop them from having a beautiful wedding and we even got outside when the rain let up. In the outside group pictures you can see they braved the cold and the falling rain for a couple fast pics! This is a long post! I always have a hard time narrowing them down!
I took pictures of Miles last year right around the same time… he was still a little baby. It’s so fun to watch kids grow up! He’s walking and talking… makes “eyes” at me and the whole time I’m trying to trick him into the poses we want for him. The hat was the hardest part! 
He did not want anything to do with that hat. It’s my favorite picture of Miles!!

You may remember cutie-pie Hallie… she won my favorite pic contest here on my blog! Her and her parents have welcomed little Brennan into the world! They were so great to photograph. Hallie made me laugh so much (she is the smartest 3 year old I’ve ever met)… and Brennan made me say “awwww” because he is just soooo darling. I just love these two and I’m so glad Cassie brought them to me to photograph! Thanks! This is a long post!
A few weeks ago I took my sister’s family pictures. Elleana LOVES to be outside so right when my sister and her husband got out of work we drove to town to go find some places to shoot. We were looking for leaves and at that point and the only place that had them left were around Boyne Mt. They have the most beautiful vines growing up buildings. Jeremy doesn’t exactly like getting his picture taken… and since Amanda’s maternity pictures this is the third time. He is getting more used to it…
This is my cousin Alexis… her and her mom drove all the way up from Caro for me to photograph her senior pictures. I can’t wait to go down to her graduation this year! My family doesn’t get down state much so we are really looking forward to it.
I’m a terrible blogger lately! I have so much to do I’ve put the blog on the back burner. There will be lots of posts soon…
I photographed this session a while ago… it was pretty cold this day so the coats were on and off through the whole session. Michele and Pearl are super close friends and wanted to do a session together. It was fun to do!
Almost exactly a year before this session I took Sarah and Josh’s pictures… a just because couple’s shoot. My husband Josh and this Josh have been good friends since high school. These two (Sarah and Josh) have been together a long time and have such a natural love! They are going to be SUCH great parents!! Baby Lane will be here later this month and I can’t wait to meet him!
You might recognize Travis from earlier in the summer… I took some pictures of him downtown Boyne City. My aunt and uncle wanted some studio/fall pictures of him too. Derick is in his first year of JV Football so we grabbed some pictures of him in his uniform.
